About the handmade process
All of Moody Monday’s products are designed and handcrafted in our studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Most of our designs (including our wallpapers) are hand-printed in our studio. The screen-printing process we prefer uses water-based, non-toxic inks and eco-pigment concentrates, which are kind to the environment. Colours are hand-mixed in-house, creating a truly unique designs. Our wallpapers are specially printed onto heavyweight PEFC-sourced paper, ensuring durability pre- and post-installation.
Some of our products (including a few of our cushions) are digitally printed before being finished by hand. We take great pride in our work, and our clients expect this attention to detail in all of our products.
Our designs have been exhibited at Somerset House, the Southbank Centre, and Earls Court in London, plus many other locations throughout the UK. We have been featured in a number of notable UK and international publications, including Homes and Gardens, London Evening Standard, Grand Designs Magazine (‘Editor’s choice’), The Scotsman, DETAIL, etc. An international trend forecasting magazine featured our ‘Black Keys’ wallpaper design, citing that it was a “nod to the 60s style Bridget Riley’s Op Art”.
We are one of the official suppliers to the Dulux Design Service and supply a number of commercial clients.
